  • Prior experience in working in 24X7 support model
  • Prior PSS working experience
  • Well versed with technologies to understand our banking sys
  • Strong technical skills to investigate root cause and to be a part of faster resumption
  • Hands on Web-methods / Oracle / Database / MQ
  • Knowledge and experience handling Major Incidents
Business
  • Work with highly technical staff supporting SCB production systems across multiple applications of Bank
  • Ensure a consistent method of incident management is followed, including classification, escalation paths and communication protocols
  • Partner with key teams across the organization to identify and track key metrics ensuring the early detection of system related issues
  • Drive complicated system related issues to resolution across multiple services and groups with little or no supervision following CnC React function guidelines
  • Contribute to the Blameless RCA/retrospect function for all client impacting incidents ensuring 360-degree retrospection by enabling early detection, automation opportunity and permanent fix measures
Processes
  • Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first / second line, for example, Responsible for executing and supervising the Budget process.
People and Talent
  • 10-14 Years of IT experience. with payments domain specific knowledge is desirable.
  • Willing to come in shifts as per the CnC shift rota & support CnC 24X7 support model including night and weekend support
  • Hands on Production support experience with at least 6-8 years managing Cash, Payments & Clearing
  • Very good knowledge in 4 or more technologies covering overall application architecture such as in Java, J2EE, Oracle, WaaS, MQ and Unix technologies
  • Hands-on knowledge on Monitoring tools such as ITRS, Graphana, Splunk, AppDynamics etc.,in order to self-initiate monitoring refinements
  • Strong technical/development background and proven ability to dig into technical details and manage the triage
  • Strong communication, collaboration & team building skills with proficiency at grasping new technical concepts quickly & utilise the same in a productive manner
Risk Management
  • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN and Firewall
  • Good Knowledge on SWIFT Net domain on various SWIFT Products (SAA/ SAG/ SNL/ SAB) based on various platforms such as AIX, Sun Solaris, and Windows
  • Good Orchestration skills
  • Excel in stakeholder communication and able to liaise with Senior Management.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Post graduation degree with knowledge in Information technology.
  • 08-12 Years of IT experience. Banking domain is desirable.
  • Hands on Production support experience with at least 5 years managing Cash, Payments & Clearing systems, or Global Banking systems.
  • Mandatory to come in regular shifts to support CnC 24X7 support model mostly afternoon shifts to make CNC follow-the-sun support model.
  • Good knowledge on Monitoring tools such as ITRS, BMC, Splunk, AppDynamics etc.,
  • Very Good knowledge in Java, J2EE, Oracle, WaaS, MQ and Unix technologies
  • Proven experience in co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with business representatives.
  • A certified PMP Professional. Good to Have.
  • Good with stakeholder communication and able to liaise with Sr.Mgmt.
  • Strong knowledge of various platforms such as Linux, AIX, Sun Solaris, and Windows
  • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN and Firewall
  • Advanced documentation skills to ensure that the knowledge repository is up-to-date.
  • Represent technology to our business and vendors encompassing for all production support
