Software Engineer4 - 9 yearsMumbaiYou will design, develop, and implement new features and modules in companys financial software system, and improving existing onesPerform unit testing on new featuresWork in close liaison with Quality Assurance team and Technical Publications team.Use Java and Swing to design and develop graphical user interfaces Assist Helpdesk personnel with customer problemsYou will work closely with Product Management to translate and understand accurately product specifications andResponsible for bug fixing for several Calypso modules, including Credit Derivatives and Equity DerivativesSkills And RequirementsMinimum 4 years of experience in commercial software development using Java, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE and XML with BS or higher education in Computer Science/ equivalentSolid development experience in distributed systems; interface development on window/UNIX platformObject Oriented Analysis, design development skillsFamiliarity with open source frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, JQuery framework, Ant, Xdocient, JMS and othersKnowledge of relational databases and DQL including working experience with Sybase and/or OracleExperience using messaging, middleware software (MQ, TIBCO), middleware integrated development environments (Eclipse, IntellU), source Control Management systems (CVS, Mercurial)Experience practicing Test Driven Development or Open Source testing tools a plus Experience with FIX and/or FpML a plus
