Job Description

As a member of our Sales & Research Technology Group in CIB, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You ll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.Your responsibility includes analyzing, designing, and developing high quality software solutions for various problems that investment banking sales people face today Also, identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle and collaborate with internal and external teams to various problems.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Proven track record as a Software Engineer
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Expert knowledge in frontend web framework like React and Angular
  • Full-stack developer with proficiency in multiple modern programming languages (Java, Python, Javascript, etc.)
  • Experience and Knowledge of Object Oriented Design/Development (OO Principles, Software Design Patterns, etc.)
  • Experience and Knowledge of highly available microservices architecture on cloud (AWS) and design across all systems
  • Experience and Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, etc.)
  • Knowledge of low-latency, high-throughput asynchronous messaging (Kafka, AMPS, etc.)
  • Adhere to agile best practices including test automation for the fast feedback loop & CI/CD
  • Knowledge of search engine (Elasticsearch, AMPS, etc.)
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Keen understanding of investment banking is a plus
