This role is accountable for taking technical, functional, and operational design specifications (Epics and Impact Assessment) to formulate User Stories and co-develop the OMS portion of the solutions with vendor during the Agile software development life cycle.The candidate will:take ownership and accountability of Amdocs Ordering (OMS) modules within the application and provides technical support and guidance during solution design for new requirements, problem resolution for critical / complex issues. ensure code is maintainable, scalable and supportable. develop and present demos of each Sprint/Product Increment to stakeholders and internal/external customers investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing code fixes (analyzes and fixes bugs) and workarounds, review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, highlight risks and assist to mitigate risks from technical aspects. perform ongoing incremental change requests to existing deployed Amdocs Ordering solution and support delivery of the CRs throughout all the lifecycles of the release bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques and reusing existing solutions. By means of automation, reduces design complexity, reduces time to response, and simplifies the client/end-user experienceJob Responsibilities:The role requires experience in evaluating and managing technical, business issues and risks and the associated complexity.Core attributes required of the role include a thorough understanding of Agile ApplicationsDevelopment and Delivery lifecycle as well as the enablement and convergence of Telecommunication Services.A particular strength required of this role is the working capability to develop efficiently in Agile ScrumModel, CI/CD DevOps, as well as a deep working understanding of the Billing and Customer Care business functions.A core focus of the role will be to develop greater internal capability to co-develop innovative solutions with technology partners.Knowledge of NetCracker OSS applications, Amdocs CES (Especially OMS and its interfacing modules) applications will be an added advantage.Experience in CI/CD tools such as the Atlassian suite of Products (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, etc) will be an added advantage too.
