*As a Senior Manager, Solution Engineer you will Oversee the technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices within solutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers. This includes providing guidance, support and advice in the proposal, implementation, and deployment for any new or existing product developments as part of a customer solution. Reporting to the Director-Solution Engineer, you will be a part of the MEIA Tech Management, Airport and Airlines Team.At SITA, we achieve more, together. Are you ready to join us What you will do Oversees the technical qualification and owns the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of current, new, or evolving technologies, and SITA solution portfolios. Oversees the design and development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally, including the selection of 3rd party vendor to meet customer requirements. Promotes SITA by furnishing customers with comprehensive, up-to-date information on current products, product enhancements and new solutions, through customer meetings and workshops. Ensure designs can be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally. Ensures interaction and collaboration with colleagues is carried out to gain and share ideas and opportunities. Lead, mentor and coach a technical team of Solution Engineers. Coordinates technical training and certification on the products and technologies supporting the ATI. Supports sales groups or competency centers during the pre-contract phases (qualification, proposal and contract) with technical designs and advice. Contribute to and develop technical account strategies with the sales team to ensure maximum account penetration and commercial benefits for SITA in the long term. Participate in the consultative selling process with the commercial and sales team. As part of a team, identify, quantify, assess, and report risks associated with a bid., *Who you are Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of Airport Operations, Passenger and Baggage Processing systems, Biometric technologies, Passenger Data and Voice Internetworking technologies such as but not limited to LAN, WAN, SDN, Mobility and Wireless, as well as integration of varied technologies and systems at the application and equipment layer that support the Air Transport Industry (ATI). 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology, Telecom Industry or Air Transport Industry technology in a technical pre-sales role Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical solutions for airport & Airline customers.
