Job Description

    Basic Function:Welcomes and greets all Spa guests that comes for Spa services by effective usage of GOLDEN with recognition and guest name. Experienced technical position in the Spa & Health Club Department. Provides professional massage, body treatments, Skincare beauty treatments, including grooming services using the standards established by Four Seasons Bengaluru.Role and Responsibilities: Gene ralIs directly responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of workAssists his/her supervisor in executing the day to day operational requirementsAssumestraining responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role modelAttends all scheduled training sessionsActively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) relatedfeedback to managementDisplays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule Departmental - Treatments Provide professional treatments for any guest (male or female) including but not limited to massage, facial treatments, grooming and body treatments. Recommend further treatments to guest which address their concerns and preferencesDescribe spa treatments knowledgeably and enthusiastically and ask guests pertinent questions, to determine their needs and preferencesUtilize all of the professional products safely and accurately & take reasonable care to perform duties as instructed, and to prevent injuries to self and othersHave a thorough understanding of every spa service including benefits, indications & contraindications for each of the treatments, facials, massagesEnsure treatment rooms are immaculately maintained (including linen, terry and any equipment in the treatment room)Performs all services as per the standard operating manuals Departmental - Reception Recommend treatments and rituals based on their needs and desiresMake reservations in Spa software accurately to ensure guest needs and requests are metEnsure confirmations to guests are completed accuratelyMaintain a guest history database on guests and members, ensuring specific needs, medical history has been documented to ensure recognitionOperate the Spa software system for spa reservations and all other Spa software functionsRecommend retail products to your guest to continue the benefits without being persuasive. Specific Responsibilities and Tasks General Adheres to the hotels code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standardsIs seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talkActively participates in briefings and meetingsMaintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environmentPerforms any additional duties as assigned Departmental Greet all guests who enter the Spa in a warm and welcoming manner using guest name when knownOrganize and schedule all guest bookings in the absence of Spa ReceptionistProvide information to guests about the services offered in the Spa as well as the hotelRead and update the daily logIdentify and report hazards, facility maintenance issues and equipment related problems immediately to managerRespond properly in any emergency or safety situationPerform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel managementHandle guest complaints if possible by taking ownership and notify spa management immediatelyProcess all charges for retail, spa treatments through Micros and Opera for accurate billing purposes without causing any delays to guestsAssist in the male and female locker rooms when necessary ensuring the lockers are maintained and kept to the highest standards at all timeEducation: CIDESCO certification is an advantageGraduateExperience:Has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as spa therapist in a 5-star Hotel.Skills and Abilities:Ability to promote Spa products and services.Ability to recommend guests ensuring their specific needsAbility to schedule various services for individualsAbility to input and access data in computerAbility to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of timeAbility to perform job functions with minimal supervisionAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteousExtremely strong on product knowledge and recommendation skillsPossesses excellent communication & inter-personal skillsShould be extremely humble, polite, caring & hospitable in natureShould be physically & mentally fitShould possess a certificate / diploma in Spa therapiesMust possess hands on experience of performing massages & body treatments, facialsWilling to conduct cross gender treatments,
