Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities :Report directly to the Partner and work closely with the company Officers to provide various accounting advisory services to our clients including SEC reporting, adoption of new accounting standards, assist with GL close and perform other accounting and reporting functions as necessary.Lead the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to SEC filings including 10-Q and 10-K.Manage team responsible for assisting clients with month end and quarter end close activities; role will require you to lead and train accounting staff, but also to perform their tasks directly as necessary.Lead the preparation of GAAP compliant financial statements in contemplation of potential transaction readiness.Monitor new GAAP and SEC releases and work with the team to help define and implement necessary process and reporting changes.Requirements :Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance related field5 years of relevant work experience, all of which should be in technical accounting rolesRelevant certification (e.g. CPA) requiredProven ability to drive and lead corporate accounting processes and procedures such as cash management, AR/AP, month end closeStrong GAAP experience along with hands on public reporting and SEC experience drafting 10Q/10K and/or performing controllership functions related to consolidations, GL close and reportingStrong communication, documentation and presentation skillsHighly driven and self-motivated to work as required, with a hands-on approach to ensure the deliverables are produced on time with high qualityStrong project and time management skillsExperience in training, developing and mentoring staff.
