Job Location is Airoli, Mumbai. - Ensure that accounting activities are in compliance with accounting law and regulations (GAAP/IFRS). Guide business if needed.- Guarantee that global financial policies are being applied. Communicate with relevant stakeholders.- Supports in implementing improvements and global guidelines- Work closely with Supervisor, Business, RAC/Satellite Manager, Consolidation and External reporting department Responsibilities : - Responsible for the execution of reliable, timely and complete specialist accounting tasks and activities as recorded in the Global Process Design and Standard Operating Procedures-)- Provide quality assurance on Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (P&L) and specifications for all Group provisions (Pension, Environmental, Rationalization, Decommissioning and Other Sundry)- Review BS and P&L figures and variances on a monthly basis- Create adjust specification (A-Forms)- Prepare and perform monthly analysis to present to External reporting department- Maintain, monitor and update the Environmental provision database (in excel)- Maintain, monitor and update the Management Equity Plan database (in excel)- Calculate and post quarterly adjustments to the Pension provisions and Management Equity plan- Support the pension/environmental accounting specialist with the annual pension valuation process- Support the pension/environmental accounting specialist with the annual environmental review process.- Actively provide the group auditor (PWC) with required information- Support local RACs and reporting department with quarterly holiday accrual- Analyze salaries and wages on a monthly basis (group wide)- Responsible that all the month end closing deadlines are met,
