Job Description

    : SQL Server DBA Required Skill : - 7 - 10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA - Ability to apply laws & policies on data storage, retention & auditing - Experience with creation and maintenance of SSIS packages - Experience and thorough understanding of Microsoft SQL Server architecture and related utilities - Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 20xx Server platform - Background in 24x7 Uptime, Dev. and test, Data Warehousing environments - Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) Responsibilities : - Oversees day-to-day operation of the database instance(s). - Installs and configures database software. - Manages the deployment of appropriate security patches, hot fixes, and software updates. - Manages database user accounts, roles, and permissions. - Manages database storage and plans for future capacity. - Performs database backups according to a regular schedule, recovers data from backups as needed. - Monitors performance and tunes the database and queries for best performance. - Schedules SSIS packages, creates maintains packages - Participates in the development of policies, procedures, and resources that standardize the use and operation of database resources.
