Job Description

Sr. Engineer (Data Analytics)Job Locations IN-MumbaiRequisition ID 2021-57031 Category Research & Development Whats the role As we are continuously improving our geocoding and search quality and country expansion, we are looking for technically skilled data analysts to support us in our Country-by-Country Analysis and Quality optimization initiative for HERE One Search. In this role you will:

  • Support cross-divisional efforts for map data completeness and quality assessment
  • Run log analytics to uncover patterns in user behaviors, identify potential gaps and improvements for our service and convert them into software requirements
  • Benchmark competitive functions to identify missing or wrong information and functions for our services
Who are you You are a fast learner, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You carry a degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience including:
  • Experience in data analytics or delivering software products or systems in various roles
  • Experience with data analytics tools and technologies
  • Experience with relational databases (i.e. SQL)
  • Understanding of machine learning and data mining concepts
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Good ability to articulate and communicate clearly complex topics.
