Position Purpose:Part of the SCM function of NHPL (CPO India), to provide consistent and outstanding service to our customers through: Effective Warehousing & Distribution Management infrastructure with proper GxP Compliance. Manage Transporter contracts for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Distribution & leverage Air to Road conversion of Freight. Effective management of C&FC s (Carrying & Forwarding Contractors), Stamping, Promo, and Incinerations related activities for Novartis India. Leverage Analytics and BI Tools for Order Management & drive efficiencies in Operations of C&FC s. Work with Business, Commercial Teams to develop and leverage new go-to Market strategies. Actively participate/ drive projects related to W&D, like Air to Surface/Road, Cost to Serve. Market benchmarking related to W&DC Operations.Your key responsibilities Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Actively participate with Planning Team for S&BP etc. Work closely with the Planning, RA, QA & C&FC Teams to ensure product availability, CSL across India. Design processes to improve efficiency across the C&FC s across India. Drive initiatives for Cost avoidance and efficiency improvement on Freight & Distribution expenses. Work closely with Business Teams (incl KAM, Onco etc.) & Stamping Operations to ensure complete visibility of stock availability at different points across the chain. Actively participate/ drive Supply Chain projects. Ensure 100% Compliance ( No non-compliance) to SOP s, QA & RA Guidelines across C&FC s. Ensure accurate GST & Tax compliance across C&FC s. Establish governance monitoring mechanism & ensure accurate governance & across C&FC s. Work closely with Planning team and with the C&FC to ensure :a. SAP Driven replenishment plan for CFC location is executed in a timely manner b. Work closely with Planning Team to monitor location wise Forecast Accuracy by continuous evaluation / trend analysis / challenges with respective DA s c. Ensure CFC deliver on KPI s related to CSL, OTIF (On Time in Full) against forecast d. Managing and ensuring sufficient SS at C&FC location for all active SKUse. Work with Key stakeholders on reduction of Inventory Write-off initiativesf. C&FC work in a well-coordinated manner on a day-to-day basis and all operational issues etc. are resolved in a timely manner.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Masters Degree or MBA Operations preferred (NITIE preferred) Fluency in English - essential, Knowledge/Proficiency of at least one other local language preferred. Min 10 years of extensive experience in a viable supply chain organisation with good exposure to Large Footprint - Warehousing & Distribution / C&FC Network. Interaction with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel. Knowledge and experience in SAP Environment / & BI tools (Tableau, QlikSense etc.),Why consider Novartis 799 million. That s how many lives our products touch.
