Monitoring & creating incidents Tickets for respective group as & when required.A solid understanding of the Write Anywhere File Layout (WAFL) file system, volumes, aggregates, qtrees, and quotas is required.Expertise in implementing NetApp active-active controller configurations to ensure continuous data availability and rapid recovery of data in the event of a disaster, and in using the SnapMirror, and SnapVault products to manage and protect mission-critical data.Experience with standard change, incident and problem management systems Ontapp Upgrades for Netapp storage. Upgrading the Firmware on Shelves and DisksUnderstand procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance and data protection.Willingness to work in 24x7x365 storage environment including on-call rotation, weekend work, etc.Experience with NetApp SnapVault and SnapMirror is requiredExperience with Veritas NetBackup (NDMP) is a plusMust be able to perform well as a member of a larger team.Ability to establish mutual expectations with clients is required.
