Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager Compliance & Reporting is a key position in the External Supply (ES) Supply Chain organization and is responsible for overseeing and directing SOX and local statutory related compliance activities across multiple markets and according legal entities (global scope). The position often interacts cross-functionally with a.o. Virtual Site Operations Teams (VSOT), contract manufacturers supply chain management, finance, procurement, accounts payable, internal and external (auditors, service providers) compliance functions, and customer service in support of ES SC, ES Operations and the ES (SC) LT.The position will utilize excellent analytical & critical thinking skills and have the key responsibility to co-ordinate and support a smooth and efficient operation of inventory accounting, compliance & reporting.The role requires a motivated individual, whom is a self-starter with ability to work under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sox/local statutory compliance and inventory management
    • Ensure and report out on reconciliation compliance of our tolled inventories on a Global level.
    • Monthly resolution for all pending reconciliation items & inventory adjustments in line with the Global Corporate and local Policies.
    • Perform Risk Control Management to determine & drive the annual physical inventory cycle counts at our CMOs
    • Liaisoning with external agencies for the physical inventory verification and the resolution of the discrepancies between physical and book stock.
    • Drive standardisation to compliance related processes and ensure audit readiness
    • Lead and represent External Supply in audits related to the markets/legal entities in close collaboration with VSOT and ES Finance
    • Account management of any applicable outsourced service provider(s) in relation to inventory management.
  • Ensure adequate Segregation of Duties (SOD) within the inventory process and related system access (monthly reporting).
  • Training Compliance Management as required
  • Run, analyze/process data reports and feed results into tracker files. Make sure tolling & Cycle Count tracker files are updated and published within agreed timelines. Maintain and publish monthly metrics.
  • Lead, support and work on continuous improvement initiatives as necessary and streamline procedures and processes to be used by the team and secure that processes are documented. Create and sustain an improvement and innovative culture by actively stimulating and supporting Operational Excellence and process robustness initiatives.
  • Lead, communicate and facilitate the implementation of various projects, processes and CI initiatives to the supply chain teams when related to Compliance, or the broader ES supply chain scope.
  • Ensure procedures and reports used in the team are in line with Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instrucions and ensure its execution is fully compliant with all audit requirements in the field of inventory management and Accounts Payable.
  • At times, the role might be called upon to support with other SC related matters
  • Flexibility on daily working hours, given the position s workload variability. Interaction with stakeholders in other time zones required (Asia, US, EU).
  • Travel may be required from time to time (10%).
  • Position to be based in Mumbai.
  • There is no relocation associated with this role.
EDUCATIONUniversity/Master degree in Business Management, Economics, Financial, Trade or Materials Management/ SCM or equivalent through experience.Knowledge and understanding of (Supply Chain) Financial concepts and application.Experience in Materials Management, production planning and inventory management optimization algorithms.Strong knowledge in SAP and add-on modules such as APO, IBP are advantages.Strong skills in Office 365 are required. Advanced Excel skills, experience with BOBJ/Tableau strong asset.APICS training/ certification preferred.Fluent in English, other languages are an added value.EXPERIENCEMinimum 5-8 years working experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Finance related fields with at least 3 years experience in managing inventories and related compliance requirements, preferably the pharmaceutical/ chemical industry.Above site/regional and/or global experience and/ore experience working in a matrix organization are a plus.Experience with advanced analytics & digitally savvy.Strong interpersonal & communication skills.Experience interacting and building effective relationships at different levels within and external to the organization and across geographies is imperative including working with cultural differences and country specific requirements.Experience in projects that require collaborative approaches and possesses strong technical/analytical skills and a solid ability to understand business issues and processes, lead change and meet deadlines.Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.Logistics & Supply Chain Mgmt #LI-PFE,
