Job Description

    • Prior experience in working in 24X7 support model
    • Well versed with technologies to understand our banking system
    • Strong technical skills to investigate root cause and to be a part of faster resumption
    • Hands on Java / Oracle / MQ
    • Containers,Kubernetes,Kafka,Spring Boot, Redis/Hazelcast, AWS Technologies preferred
    • Knowledge and experience handling Incidents/Change management
    Business
    • Work with highly technical staff supporting SCB production systems across multiple applications of Bank
    • Ensure a consistent method of incident management is followed, including classification, escalation paths and communication protocols
    • Partner with key teams across the organization to identify and track key metrics ensuring the early detection of system related issues
    • Drive complicated system related issues to resolution across multiple services and groups with little or no supervision following CnC React function guidelines
    • Contribute to the Blameless RCA/retrospect function for all client impacting incidents ensuring 360-degree retrospection by enabling early detection, automation opportunity and permanent fix measures
    Processes
    • Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first / second line, for example, Responsible for executing and supervising the Budget process.
    People and Talent
    • 8 Years of IT experience. with payments domain specific knowledge is desirable.
    • Willing to come in shifts as per the CnC shift rota & support CnC 24X7 support model including night and weekend support
    • Hands on Production support experience with at least 6-8 years managing Cash, Payments & Clearing
    • Very good knowledge in Java, Oracle, Websphere, MQ and Unix technologies
    • Containers,Kubernetes,Kafka,Spring Boot, Redis/Hazelcast, AWS Technologies preferred
    • Hands-on knowledge on Monitoring tools such as ITRS, Graphana, Kibana, etc.,in order to self-initiate monitoring refinements
    • Strong technical/development background and proven ability to dig into technical details and manage the triage
    • Strong communication, collaboration & team building skills with proficiency at grasping new technical concepts quickly & utilise the same in a productive manner
    Risk Management
    • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN and Firewall
    • Good Orchestration skills
    • Excel in stakeholder communication and able to liaise with Senior Management.
