Job Description

    • Processing as per the Departmental Operating Instructions Manual and KCS within the timelines and accuracy standards specified.
    • Continuous improvement in productivity to the standards prescribed for the processes from time to time.
    • Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times.
    • Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations of Company and Group Policies.
    • Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and report all suspicious transactions to the Unit Manager.
    • Timely escalation of process / reconciliation and other issues to Line Manager.
    • POU Document Validation related to FX , Derivatives , Support and MIS activities.
    People and Talent
    • Help the unit to promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
    • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
    • Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
    • Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
    • Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
    • Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.

    • Ensure 100% compliance at all times to the group s risk management framework as applicable

    • Comply with all the group standards, policies, procedures and guidelines as applicable and values of the Bank at all times.

    • Lead the unit to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles : [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]*
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    • Adherence to RBI regulations on Risk Management and Interbank Dealing

    • Financial Markets Front Office, Country Financial Markets Operations, Group Financial Markets Operations, Country Legal & Compliance
    Other Responsibilities
    • Contribute to embed Here for good and Group s brand and values in the unit.
    • Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.
    Our Ideal Candidate Experience:
    • For Local Grade D : Atleast 2 years relevant experience in Financial Market Operations.
    • For Local Grade E : Atleast 4 years relevant experience in Financial Market Operations.
    Education:
    • Minimum under graduation with good scores
    Skills:
    • good verbal & written English communication
    • Excellent analytical capabilities and basic accounting knowledge
    • Eye for detail and good in numbers
    • Hands on in MS OFFICE
    • Flexibility to work in shifts and across locations within city and outside.
    • Knowledge of Financial Markets products (Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, and Derivatives), Financial Markets processes (Document Validation, Confirmation, and Settlement). Knowledge of Murex will be an advantage.
