As Technical Service Representative for a large Manufacturing Multinational in India, you will be the technical support specialist for their direct and indirect customers in India and subsequent expansion into South East Asia. You must have a solid knowledge base in technical service and applications support for automotive and architectural glazing or thermoplastics processing. You provide onsite lamination support, including troubleshooting, product qualification, production line starting up and line audit, process and product training to customers to ensure that the Company remains or becomes the preferred partner. In addition, you will use your technical expertise to support their market development teams and provide valued technical advice and solutions to downstream customers. As part of customer interfacing function, proactive development and maintenance of key customer relationships is essential part of the role. You continuously seek to identify customer and industry needs and trends which could lead to new product applications or developments. Furthermore, you are expected to operate without close day-to-day supervision as an individual contributor, the ability to engage with other functions and work in a team is crucial.
