Team Profile:Alvarez & Marsal s Turnaround and Performance Improvement Practice (TAP) works with healthy as well as distressed companies in improving performance. TAP team works as partner to develop and execute business transformation and restructuring plans. It provides EBIDTA improvement, performance improvement, liquidity assessment, business plan evaluation, creditworthiness assessment, & stakeholder negotiation services to clients. TAP team helps clients effect positive change, manage risk and unlock value.TAP also covers detailed due diligence, financial analysis and valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting and tax, liquidity management to business plan development. TAP team consists of highly trained and experienced cross disciplinary advisers with legal, finance and IT backgrounds.Job Roles & Responsibilities:Project Management:
• Plan and execute tasks effectively by prioritizing various activities with the team
• Meticulous attention to detail, a sense of curiosity, ability to learn quickly, and dedication to customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with colleagues, identify and implement opportunities for improved effectiveness, efficiency and risk mitigation
• Capture and record time and costs incurred on each project every week
• Ensure the timely delivery of work allocated
• Ensure timely actions on feedback by clients / Project Manager / Reporting Manager
Delivery Excellence
• Research in-depth and generate reliable data
• Distill insights from analyses by identifying second order implications
• Systematically break down the problem into relevant focus areas
• Develop a quick understanding of clients businesses and its drivers and leverages the same for project delivery
• Discern patterns of complex diligence matters and provide accurate understanding
Client Management:
• Interact with clients and seniors independently and effectively
• Set clear and unambiguous expectations on deliverables
• Manage client expectations and make changes accordingly
• Earn client s trust by displaying superior work ethic with utmost importance on client confidentiality
• Satisfy client expectations by delivering superior quality work
Communication
• Articulate ideas in confident and concise manner
• Engage audience by responding effectively & succinctly
• Prepares high-quality slides and presentation decks
• Narrative building capability to distill complex ideas into a compelling story
Basic Qualifications:
• MBA or equivalent master s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or Mathematics from premium institutes required (preferred IIM / ISB / IIT / NIT)
Experience:
• Required:
• 5 8 years post MBA
• Consulting experience in supply chain / operations OR industry experience at a renowned corporate in procurement / planning / manufacturing / logistics / integrated cost reduction
• Preferred:
  • 2-3 years of experience developing digital strategy and roadmaps in supply chain functions
  • Should have strong point of view on the needs, opportunities, use cases, challenges and disruptions with respect to digital/technology in supply chain set-ups
  • Understanding of the use of digital concepts OT and IT integration, usage of big data and advanced analytics (including AI/ML, data science), automation (RPA, intelligent/cognitive automation, digital workers), cloud (hybrid, multi) & design thinking
