Job Description

    Required Skills:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in building enterprise web based UI Applications
    • Experience working with JavaScript and Typescript, React, Redux, RxJS, Yarn
    • Experience in building high-performance desktop/web applications
    • Experience leveraging modern frameworks, libraries, tools and languages
    • Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration
    • In-depth understanding of JavaScript and its idiosyncrasies
    • Understanding of OO and functional programming paradigms
    • Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile approach
    • Computer Science foundations
    • Familiarity with Investment Banking, FinTech, or Financial Markets
    • Ability to single handedly drive a project to completion.
    Role Description: We are searching for highly motivated front-end JavaScript engineer with track record of success to build out our strategic markets UI team. In this role you will be responsible for building and supporting client-side functionality for JPMorgan s FX ETrading platform. You will contribute features, enhancements and bug fixes and ensure the codebase is clean, well-structured and testable. The developer will work alongside our server side developers to build out Web based solutions to replace legacy Python based UIs. The developer will be required to work solo for the initial phase of the project, and later help build out a full fledged UI team based out of Mumbai. You will have the opportunity to use the latest tools, languages and frameworks while working with a large and friendly team who have a wealth of experience. You will be able to learn about financial markets from colleagues and extensive training resources. As a UI developer you will influence application architecture, development process and contribute to internal frameworks and libraries and have the opportunity to see direct impact of your contributions on the trading floor and in client feedback from around the globe.,
