Summary: The BDM is a person who is responsible to develop business, maintain the relationship with thecustomer. He/she is accountable for the P&L of the customer account. A single point of contact between thecompany and the customer.Product: Rigid PackagingFrom the List of customers identified in the region -1. Identify the right contact person or decision maker.2. Connect with them and provide awareness about company and products3. Understand the customer need/requirement.4. Provide the samples and relevant information like - technical know-how, pricing, features to customer5. Advise and suggest the right/suitable packaging based on the requirement.6. Analyze the size of the order and project the volume to maintain a long-term relationship.7. Provide the quotation and follow up.8. Negotiate with the customer take the confirmation on the Purchase order.Co-ordination with Customer Service team.9. Co-ordinate with the customer service team to ensure the order details are received.10. Continuously follow up with them on the status of the order.11. Ensure the order is delivered according to the agreed timeline.12. Follow up for the payment and ensure the payment is received as on agreed dates.13. Provide after sales service.14. Use exhibitions/fairs to promote the company and acquire new customers.Data & Reporting:15. Continuously update and maintain the reginal customer database.16. Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting on the status of each customer to the management.17. Monitor day to day activities of sales executives with data and reporting as a priority.
