DepartmentProduct DesignJob TitleSr. User Experience ArchitectJob Purpose:A Senior UX Designer at Tata ClassEdge has the responsibility for all decisions related to the visual and emotional experiences in our products and services. Understanding and empathising with our users will be a key demand from this role. You will be responsible of comprehending information gathered out of research and surveys and translating it into tangible output in the form of sitemaps, customer journeys, wireframes and prototypes. You will work with cross-functional teams to define, verify, and translate product requirements into a complete User Experiences that not ONLY meet our users requirement but create a pleasurable, meaningful experience for our users.Managerial RequirementsDesign LeadershipResearch and document emerging technology and UX design trends in digital products.Gather, manage, and analyse best design practices, within and across industry.Critically review and refine existing UX design process within the organization.Define KPIs related to UX design activities.Systematically track and report on KPIs to respective stakeholders.Evangelize experience design within the organization.Design Management Analyse relevant markets and customer segments to develop a deep understanding of the customer and market.Develop broad knowledge about current and future product features.Work with stakeholders to define product vision, product design principles, product goals, and design strategies to help achieve those goals.Define and document organizations overarching UX design philosophy and propose tangible strategies to implement it.Support and expand the organizations design systems with updated systems, frameworks, tools, patterns, and templates.Apply sound design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of all products.Help expand, train and mentor the UX team.OperationalRequirements AnalysisConsult Product Design team and other customer-facing teams to clarify objectives, product requirement to arrive at functional requirements for new or modified products.Work with other customer-facing teams to define product requirements that address market opportunities.Quantify scope of work, resources and timelines required for developing prototypes and features.Work with Product Manager and Design Team in planning and execution of new product releases.UX DesignWork with the product team to identify relevant personas, scenarios, and task flows.Define UX design strategy for each product that includes, but is not limited to, visual design principles, colour palate, design language, iconography, typography, sound design, and motion design (animations, transitions) aimed at keeping users constantly engaged and delighted with a specific product.Recommend modern navigation solutions to support proposed information architecture.Offer the most appropriate interaction design patterns for web and native to delight the end-user.Propose signature interaction patterns, after prototyping, testing, and validating with actual users.Create and maintain UX design specifications for each product.UX Design production and reviewSupport content, graphics and technical teams with specifications and timely feedback during all stages of production.Regularly review all design output against specifications for alignment with the UX design goals.Knowledge/SkillsRequired

Education

• Required: Graduate Degree/Diploma in Art/Architecture/Engineering/Design, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in UX/UI Design
• Desired: Post-graduate degree/diploma in UX Design or related discipline

Experience

• Required: 6+ Years designing experience as a UX Designer or similar role
• Desired: 2 to 3 Years leading UX design teams
