• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the agile methods/principles.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Provide information by collecting, analysing and summarizing development and service issues
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
• First and foremost, developing software our users need
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new ideas

Business

• The Specialist (Technology Tools) will be a key member of Regulatory Technology Team and responsible for delivering the various technology and vendor solutions used in Regulatory Technology . The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme.

Risk Management

• Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees

Our Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
• Having 6 to 10 years of relevant industry experience and specialised in WealthSuite Implementation for Private / Wealth business domain.
• Software skills: Triple A, TCIB / Edge Connect, T24, TTI , Insight , Java & Latest Web Technologies & API Services development.
• Having 2 to 3 years of implementation experience on WealthSuite comprising of Triple A Plus, TCIB/EGDE connect, WTX & T24.
• Worked in Agile environment and have full knowledge on Agile practices.
• Have worked/Knowledge on Dev Ops tools like Docker, Ansible, GIT, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Selenium, Maven etc.
• Basic foundational knowledge in Private Banking / Core Banking implementation for large scale volume and integration to multiple surround systems / external Third-Party Systems.
• A strong portfolio which showcases a range of tools and techniques, and case studies which demonstrates considerable ROI for a range of clients.
• An expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques, especially in designing large-scale system designs & frameworks on multiple platforms
• A strong knowledge in Java/J2EE, API, MQ, Shell scripting, Basic Unix commands & Solace Development is an added advantage.
• Problem solving mindset, strong team spirit and complete commitment to work quality.
• Ability to advocate and defend the solution design for the challenging / complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication skills
