Job Description

    • Develop business concepts into defined projects
    o Prepare project feasibility reports, cost estimates & execution planso Detailed understanding and working as per Project Execution documents
    • Project completion on time, with in the budget
    o Ensure availability on time, the Engineering deliverables and materials for constructiono Ensure implementation of uniform procedures and methodso Review periodically the work processes, identify functional gaps if any, and design corrections for establishing most effective work flowso Assess, periodically, the work progress for achieving the project objectives and direct remedial measureso Set up effective systems for surveillance of Safety, Quality, time schedules & Costso Prepare & issue project progress reportso Prepare, coordinate & control schedule for issue of Engineering deliverableso Coordination with procurement group for Project purchaseso Coordination with Project Control and Cost Control teamo Provide site support to construction group for construction related activitieso Manage EPC contractso Prepare Project close out & Technical capitalization reports
    • Stabilization of plant for on specification 100% product
    o Coordinate among Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Vendors, Contractors & Operations for smooth & efficient start-up & commissioningEducation Requirement :
    • B.E. / B.Tech
    Experience Requirement :
    • Minimum 12-18 years of experience in project management functions for large scale plant or facility construction in the sectors of Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Oil & Gas, Energy etc.
    • Should have handled the Project Management functions in the middle management level
    Skills & Competencies :
    • Knowledge in Project internal and external environment
    • Knowledge in project objectives / scope of work
    • Knowledge in standard engineering practices and relevant codes
    • Knowledge in Engineering & construction methods
    • Safety rules and Safety standards
    • Quality control procedures
    • Basic knowledge in all disciplines of engineering
    • Statutory clearances/approval processes
    • Knowledge in contracts management (domestic/international)
    • Risk identification & quantification techniques
