About the Investor Relations Analyst Role: On the Discretionary side, the team partners with the core multi asset and thematic portfolio management teams to educate and communicate the discretionary portfolios to advisors. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting on advisor/investor communications, client experience priorities and strategic initiatives for our discretionary portfolios for one of the largest global wealth managers.On the Alternatives side, The Alternative Investments Group ( AIG ) identifies, performs due diligence on, and markets alternative investments such as private equity, hedge funds and real estate to the clients within the Private Bank, globally. The Investor Relations Team serves as liaison between the AIG clients (internal and external) and the general partners/fund managers of private equity funds, real estate funds and hedge funds offered on the Private Bank s platform. The team primarily supports sales and relationship management activities of the Alternatives funds platform, including client events, fund communications and ad hoc special projects and analyses In this role you will support the Investor Relations and Portfolio Specialist teams, and execute on key deliverables and projects across Managed Solutions. This role is required to work closely with a wide variety of internal teams (including Due Diligence, Structuring, Marketing, Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Tax, and Legal & Compliance) to assist in the day-to-day servicing of inquiries from our salesforce regarding Alternative / Discretionary Investments. The Investor Relations team is responsible for the execution of internal and external communication for the Alternative / Discretionary investments (including both client letter-writing and internal e-mail communications to senior members of the Private Bank). Role and Responsibilities :
    • Serve as a resource to educate and provide information to the sales force on a large number of funds/strategies on the global Private Bank platform
      • Prioritize and respond to a high volume of advisor inquiries across multiple channels (e-mail, phone, instant messenger)
    • Leverage knowledge about our investments solutions, the markets, and views from Portfolio Managers and the Chief Investment Office to assist in writing portfolio commentary
    • Work with senior team members to develop and help drive initiatives aimed at improving the advisor/client experience (both internal & external), including increasing the efficiency of information flow and communication channels between different areas of the business
    • Oversee quality control checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy for content created by the team
    • Assist in developing and updating presentations and marketing materials for clients and internal meetings
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders (due diligence, finance, compliance, business management, etc.) on a variety of initiatives, including regulatory, technology, etc.
    • Handling Advisor and Client needs (inbox management, questions, reporting needs, corporate actions, etc.)Work on time-sensitive ad-hoc analysis and projects
    We seek candidates with a unique blend of interpersonal and analytical skills. This person should efficiently leverage both qualitative and quantitative resources to understand complex situations and present solutions. Requirements :
    • 1-4 years of work experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field
    • CA/MBA/CFA/CAIA preferred or Finance Graduates with relevant work experience within the Investor relations space
    • Good knowledge of and genuine interest in financial markets and investments products
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe PDF
    • Team oversight experience is a plus
