Job Description

    * Posting Title: Vendor Risk Associate(Data Analytics) Officer Rank: Associate DSIR Team: WM Vendor Risk Location: Mumbai, India The Data Security and Infrastructure Risk Team sits within the Wealth Management (WM) Risk organization and strives to find the right balance between risk management and business enablement. The team works to ensure that our clients sensitive PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is stored and replicated securely, used properly, and accessed by only authorized individuals and for authorized purposes. The group also helps WM meet or exceed Firm and regulatory standards by applying additional controls in areas such as: Access Management, Business Resilience and Stability, and Vendor Risk. Finally, through client and workforce education and engagement, the team provides resources to help protect our employees and clients from cyber-enabled fraud and data loss. The WM Vendor Risk program works to create an efficient, best-in-class, and cost-effective control environment to reduce the risks associated with third-party data loss and service failure. Role Description The WM Vendor Risk program seeks an Associate to support with identifying improvements on productivity and efficiency though the usage of data analysis and powerful insights. The role would involve participating in high-impact projects that ensure all risks are inventoried, measured, and mitigated to the extent possible and in line with the growth of the organization, organically and through acquisitions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Develop understanding of the vendor risk management processes, data sets and reporting methodologies used
    • Design, build, deliver and maintain reporting for vendor risk management related projects and initiatives using various data analytics tools and techniques
    • Use knowledge of the data available to enhance requirements and provide insightful suggestions to business stakeholders
    • Track, analyze, and report on operational KPIs
    • Assist with ongoing, ad hoc reporting as needed and development of presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
    • May also be called upon to assist with other vendor risk management related projects as needed
    Skills and Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
    • 3-5 years of relevant data analytics experience
    • Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving abilities
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to swiftly transition between projects and tasks
    • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
    • Proficiency and experience utilizing data analytics and process automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, DataIku, VBA scripting, etc.)
    • Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, etc.)
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), soft and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate should be able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Ability to contribute to and collaborate with a global team

    • Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in Wealth Management, finance, operations, or technology
    • Prior experience with third party and vendor relationship management
    • Experience with content and project management tools, including Twiki, SharePoint, Jive and JIRA
