Build APIs thatare well-structured, efficient, and scalable to support current and future business needs. Integration: Integrate APIs with various internal and external systems, databases, and third party services. Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability between differentcomponents of the application ecosystem. Documentation: Create comprehensive API documentation including specifications, usageguidelines, and examples. Maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate easy adoption andintegration of APIs by developers and stakeholders. Testing: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability, performance, andsecurity of APIs. Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, edge cases, and performancebottlenecks. Performance Optimization: Optimize API performance through efficient coding practices,caching mechanisms, and database optimizations. Monitor API performance metrics andconduct performance tuning as needed to enhance scalability and responsiveness. Security: Implement security best practices such as authentication, authorization, encryption,and input validation to protect APIs against security threats and vulnerabilities. Adhere tosecurity standards and protocols to ensure data privacy and integrity. Versioning and Maintenance: Manage API versioning and backward compatibility to supportevolving business requirements. Perform regular maintenance, updates, and bug fixes to keepAPIs running smoothly and efficiently. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, andother stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Participate in codereviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessionsRequired Key SkillsBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (X years) in API development using C#.NET. Strong proficiency in C# programming language and familiarity with .NET framework. Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML dataformats. Experience with API security standards and protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS). Proficient in database concepts and SQL queries. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure, including deployment,configuration, and management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in ateam environment.
