Job Description

Position Title : Business Analyst - IT ApplicationsWhat are we Looking For We at ShujaBITS Infotech Solutions are very much passionate about empowering our team through our Organization Vision, Mission, Culture, Values & constantly improving ourselves so that we can serve our clients better and hence provide much better growth opportunities for our teams.We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Analyst - IT Applications to be part of our fast-growing team with strong experience in process oriented requirements analysis, software specification documentation, identification of Minimum Viable Product, Wireframing and a good sense of User Experience design.Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently work in a collaborative team environment
  • Understand the Clients business requirements and business process flows and then translate them into comprehensive , accurate and quality software requirements.
  • Collect and analyze the projects business requirements and transfer that knowledge to the Systems Development team.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed Requirements documents , User interface guides , and functional Specification documents
  • Communicate effectively with Business Clients and IT staff on functional requirements like Business Rules , Screen layouts , data mapping analysis , system interfaces and GUI designs
  • Translate the Business Requirements into System Specifications , documenting data / table requirements , screen layouts , report format and contents , system functional capabilities , etc.
  • Escalate any Project related issues or potential impediments to a Projects schedule or deliverable
  • Coordinate with the Business and IT teams who are involved in the Testing process and are responsible for validating test results and or follow up on any outstanding testing issues
  • Document and manage any Change Requests related to the working Project
  • Undertake user acceptance testing internally before project is delivered to the client
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Business analysis and software specification documentation
  • Use case diagrams, sequence diagrams
  • Wireframing
  • UX Designs
  • User Acceptance Testing
  • Good command over spoken and written English
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • 3-6 years experience as a Business Analyst for Software Applications
  • Hands on with any of the popular wireframing tools like - wireframesketcher, Balsamiq, Mockingbird, pencil or similar tool.
Technical Skills Required:
  • Agile software development methodologies
  • JIRA/TFS or a similar item tracking system
  • Hands-on experience with any popular wireframing tool
  • Review of Test Plan, Test Design and Test Cases
  • Reporting defects and problems that occurred during the test process
  • Review of software test evaluation reports
  • Guiding and mentoring junior test team members
  • Familiarity with SQL queries
Preferred Educational Qualification:
  • B.E. (IT/Computer Science)
  • B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
  • BCA/MCA
  • OR equivalent industry exposure
