Job Description

    Learning & Dev Specialist IJob LocationsIN-Navi MumbaiRequisition ID2hidden_mobile7CategoryHuman ResourcesWhats the role Whats the role Continuous and consistent delivery of sustainable training plays a fundamental role in Platform Foundations for effectively creating and maintaining the HERE Database. This training is essential for both the new and the experienced employee.L&D Specialist I will coordinate and deliver cost effective technical training programs, identify gaps, and assist in providing accurate solutions basis the business requirement. He/She will also assist in implementing new instructional methods for delivering course content. He/She should be open to learn new tools and processes and deliver training accordingly. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Deliver standard digital mapping operations technical training to both new and experienced employees
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of developments in relevant areas (e.g., new tools, specifications and processes) for the assigned programs
    • Assist Instructional Designers with creation and maintenance of training materials (i.e., review and provide feedback)
    • Collaborate with the different teams to identify areas of improvement in technical skills and work with them to close the gap
    • Work with global teams to cater to the training needs
    • Develop and sustain the skills necessary to transfer knowledge to trainees (presentation skills and classroom management)
    Who are you
    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • Overall, 3 years of experience with 1+ years of experience with training delivery
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Readiness to travel ~10% of year and a flexible work attitude
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Completion of Effective Presentation Skills course or equivalent is an asset
    • Team player with good collaboration skills
    • Interest in the way adults learn and understanding of appropriate training methods
    • Enthusiasm and talent to teach people, motivating and inspiring attitude
    • Technical aptitude and willingness to ensure that technical skills are kept up to date
