One of our client which is into Pigment & Dyes is looking for :Procurement HeadJob Profile :Monitoring availability of stock, making appropriate arrangements to ensure on time deliveries;Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the companyControl spend andbuild a culture of long-term saving on procurement costsCollaborate with Lab Management to source new and alternative raw materialEnsuring optimum utilization of manpower and machinery towards the output.Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessPerform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreementsAnticipate unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategiesExecuting cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and work within the budget.Provide Accounts & Finance Department with periodic raw material and finished goods material costs to assist in maintaining product costing, and projected raw material and finished goods costs for annual price meetingsDevise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies for pigmentManaging overall operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time and cost parameters.Overseeing overall Procurement activities, implementing effective techiques to bring efficiency in operations, improve quality standards & achieve maximum cost saving.Coordinating and planning the logistic need for the region and travel to regions as and when requiredApprove the ordering of necessary goods and services, Finalize details of orders and deliveriesDiscover the most profitable/alternative suppliers/markets and initiate business partnerships, examine & re-evaluate existing contracts, Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and secure the most advantageous terms for pigmentEducational Qualification : Graduate (Any), Post Graduate will be preferred.Work Experience : Candidate should have minimum 12 years of work experience from Chemical Industry.
