Job Description

    To strengthen the Technical Accounting Department, we are looking for a hands-on, dynamic, and flexible team-player with a flair for figures on Insurance/Reinsurance and ideally enjoy working across cultures and locations and equally like to work independently and in a team. Also, someone who can adapt to changing priorities and balance multiple challenges.Main Responsibilities:Check and record accounts, closings, bordereaux, and payments.Pro-active reconciliation of premium documentation received from brokers and MGAs against policy details maintained in underwriting systems and underwriting documentation.Reconciliation and processing of closing/bordereauxs such as premium, IPT, levy & cost of acquisition, claims and outstanding claims.Processing of cash.Allocation of technical and cash.Monitor, manage and chase the reinsurance payables and receivables on timely basis.All receipts and payments booked and allocated timely within TAT.Preparation of Insurance/ Reinsurance reportsCorrespondence with the Clients/ underwriters.Understand, calculate, and book year end accounts (e.g., profit commission, sliding scale commission and adjustment premiums).Candidate Profile:2-4 years of experience in Insurance and Reinsurance accounting.Graduate/ university degree or equivalent work experience.Insurance qualification considered as an added advantage.Good understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance treaty/ binders and facultative processing.Very good interpersonal skills.Solution oriented and proactiveStrong analytical skills (flair for figures).Fluent in English other languages a plus.Good MS Office skills.RegardsMehanaz(hidden_email)
