Job Description

    Dear Candidate we are hiring Accountant for an Engineering Company located at Turbhe MIDC.Immediate joiners are preferred or candidates who can join with less than 15 days can be ConsideredIf interested then kindly call or drop your Resume athidden_mobileSuhel TajHR HeadWe are looking for an experienced Account Executive with a strong background in accounting and finance, particularly in the areas of TDS, PT, GST, and overall financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting Functions:- Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in the accounting software.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ledgers, and journals.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.2. Tax Compliance:- Calculate and deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per applicable rates and ensure timely payment to the government.- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns, in compliance with GST regulations.- Handle Professional Tax (PT) compliance, including registration, deductions, and payment.3. Financial Analysis:- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.- Monitor variances and discrepancies and take corrective actions as necessary.4. Vendor and Customer Management:- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.- Liaise with vendors and customers to resolve billing and payment issues.5. Audit Support:- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information- Implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls as needed.Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution industries.- Strong knowledge of TDS, PT, GST, and other tax laws and regulations.- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
