Greeting from Indian Register of Shipping!!Urgent opening for Radio Officer For LRIT / DG Comm Centre- MumbaiEducation Qualification:

  • COP 2nd class with GMDSS or COP RTG with GMDSS.
  • Sailing experience more than 3 years.
  • Good Computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Preference will be given to maximum experience
Job Location: MumbaiJob Profile:
  • Employment will be contractual, and designation will be as RADIO OFFICER.
  • The candidate will be working in shifts rotating weekly viz. Morning, Evening & Night.
  • The working will be three weeks continuous for 21 days after which there will be 7 days leave.
  • There are no weekly offs, no national or other holidays.
  • The total leave per contract of one year will be 30 days, out of which 15 days is encashable at the end of the contract.
  • There are no other allowances or perks.
Place of Work:
  • Posting will be as per DGS requirement at the LRIT / DG Comm centre at Nav Bhavan Fort or at their main office at I Think Techno Campus Kanjurmarg or other allied offices.
  • Posting at LRIT/DG Comm centre requires manning of the DG Comm & LRIT work stations on 21 days rotation. If one R/O is on leave both stations to be monitored.
