Job Description

    Job ResponsibilitiesBuild a quality & safety strategy for the organization and implement best practices and ensure its implementation.Monitor quality targets, initiatives, and indicators to ensure compliance to quality standards and reporting.Reviewing change requirements w.r.t. to on supplied parts, finished products and make recommendations to change specifications and tolerances to support cost-effective production.Responsible for reviewing plant quality system related to Non conformance and coordinate with respective parties for appropriate corrective actions at Plant level.Responsible for investigating and review customer complaints and initiate CAPA thus ensuring corrective actions are taken and horizontally deployed.Responsible for following, maintaining appropriate records to demonstrate the compliances to obtain certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & SA 8000).Coordinating with the certifying agencies for management certifications and demonstrating the product capabilities for Export Product certification.Actively participates with production department and suggest and implement practices to minimize the scarp and rework.Reviewing, analyze and approve quarterly suppler quality rating and identify action plans for improvement.Conducting joint inspection with suppliers to prepare inspection report and prepare action plan on corrective and preventive action if required.Coordinating on new development production trial run and process monitoring.Responsible for collaboration of QA and Plant Quality for the new project hand over process to ensure new projects fulfill the quality requirements of the plant.Responsible for conducting meeting with QC managers of plant to review the performance and progress on Plant QC activities.Responsible for preparing Quarterly / monthly QC performance report for the management regarding customer scores, quality rejections and internal capabilities.Responsible for collaborating with all the departments to determine quality requirements from the procurement to delivery.Responsible for identifying and reporting any deviations, resolve such issues on capabilities, materials related or tolerance issues.Implementing Digital Quality Management as part of CTQ monitoring: - Strategic Intent - become a process driven organization.Reviewing and recommend changes to process based upon findings and perform follow up to verify the effectiveness.Review test plan, implement test protocols, & upgradation of QA laboratory.Establish Safety procedures and ensure its implementation including training of personnel to avoid both major and minor reportable accidents at the factory locations.
