Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Complete accountability of Procurement and Supply Chain function enabling Mahindra to Solarizes different businesses i.e. C&I (Rooftop and Small Ground Mount), Residential Rooftop (RR), and Solar Water Pump (SWP)
    2. Directly manage the category of critical items like PV Modules (Imported, Domestic, and DCR), and Inverters
    3. Lead a team of Buyers, Stores & Logistics Executives to handle all the Procurement and Supply Chain related requirements of the Organization (Direct and Indirect Purchase)
    4. Understand business requirements specific to market segment and develop Supply Chain solutions.
    5. Co-branding of PV Modules & Inverters for Residential Rooftop Business
    6. Provide pre-bid support to Proposal and BD Team with Input Material Costs and Warranty Terms with an ultimate aim to enhance winnability
    7. Formulate Procurement Strategies for respective Item Categories. Manage entire Procure-to-Pay Process Prepare and Release RFP, Obtain Quotes, Negotiate, Prepare Techno commercial Evaluation and Comparison Statement, Recommendation, Note for Approval, PO Preparation & Closure.
    8. Drive Cost Reduction & Cost Saving Initiatives through Alternate Sourcing, Volume Discounting, Value Engineering, Standardization, and Rate Contracts (ARC)
    9. Work collaboratively with the Business Development, Finance, Engineering, and Construction teams to understand cost targets, project timelines, compliance aspects, and related constraints
    10. Identification of New Suppliers, Capability Building, Supplier Relationship Management, and Development Action Plan, Enhance Suppliers contribution in New Product Development and/or Value Engineering Projects
    11. Exercise Spend Analysis, Cost Breakdown Analysis, Zero-based Costing, etc.; Monitor and analyze Commodity and Steel Prices Trend
    12. Suppliers Issue / Query Resolution through coordination with Internal Stakeholders
    13. Ensure Timely Delivery through Expediting and Follow-up efforts; Enhance Supply Quality through QAP Compliance, PDI, and coordination with QA/QC
    14. Vendor Performance Management: OTIF and VQR Measurement, Monitoring, Analysis, and Feedback to Suppliers
    15. Develop weekly & monthly MIS for monitoring procurement activities and sharing the same with top management
    16. Dept. representative for Internal & External Audits and Ensure Dept. Level Compliance for the same
    17. SAP MM Module: Closely work with SAP MM Consultant for troubleshooting (P2P Cycle) and New Development (if any) as per Business Requirements
    18. Insurance: Identify the different types of Insurance Policies required for specific projects, Warehouse, and/or Material movements; obtain Insurance coverage in a timely manner with the help of the agent.
