Job Description

As a Senior Designer, you will be required to understand and have a solid grasp on Monotype s brand standards, products and key customer personas, and use these to operate with utmost attention to quality. You must be able to showcase expert-ability in taking a creative brief and turn it into well-thought-out designs and concepts static graphics, storyboards and style-frames.We are looking for someone who has the desire to take real ownership of this role on the animation team and see to it that all details are thought-out. Someone who reflects true passion for design by maintaining knowledge of, and staying up-to-date with latest design trends, techniques and industry know-how.Most of all have fun. Be creative!What you ll be doing.

  • Use brand books; style guides; storyboards; scripts and translate them into impactful graphics.
  • Work across all of our touchpoints and enhance customer experience through website, email, social and more.
    • Transform technical font data into engaging, easily consumable customer-facing content.
    • Create/develop graphics for short onboarding videos to drive adoption and usage of our Software as a Service (SaaS) product.
    • Deliver engaging digital marketing experiences, supporting virtual events and campaigns.
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests coming from cross-functional global teams that serve the larger business.
  • Maintain an efficient pipeline, communicating needs with the animators and creating timelines with project owners.
  • Work and collaborate closely with other designers.
  • Monitor projects to ensure established due dates are met, and work is of the highest level of quality. Meticulous organization of assets and projects.
  • Must be a self-starter.
What we re looking for.
  • 4 years of proven work experience as a Senior Graphic Designer in an in-house, agency or similar role.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere.
  • Highly organized allowing projects to move easily, and the ability to take a project from a creative brief, to concept, to completion.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across teams to create impactful work.
  • Promoting continual creative improvement and actively contributing to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.
  • Comfortable brainstorming, communicating, and presenting ideas.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, team-driven work environment.
  • Portfolio of completed design projects.
