Job Description

    Client: Worlds Largest Online RetailLocation: PAN IndiaExperience: 10 to 18yrsRole : Software Development Engineer - 3(Individual Contributor Role)Job description:As a member of the team, you will:
    • Produce bullet-proof code that is robust, efficient and maintainable
    • Empower companies and developers from around the world to embed Alexa into their devices and products
    • Participate in setting the technical vision for Alexa Voice Service in alignment with our Product team
    • Drive and lead software design, development standards, team processes and code reviews
    • Design and implement features for new products, features, APIs, platforms and frameworks
    • Mentor junior team members, help to maintain appropriate unit test coverage, code documentation and software structure
    • Distill and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
      • 4+ years of professional software development experience
      • 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
      • 2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
      • Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
      · 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems· 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design· 4+ years of professional software development experience· 2+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team
      • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
      • Experience with data structures and complex algorithms
      • Knowledge of software engineering practices for a full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
      • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities
      • Strong desire to build, deliver results, take ownership, and drive projects
      • Excellent written communication skills and verbal agility are strong assets
      • Excellent understanding of resource and design requirements for memory constrained systems and micro-controllers
      • Development experience defining, developing and maintaining REST based interfaces.
      • Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
      • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
