Job Description

    Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Supply Chain ManagementRole Overview: As the Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners to enhance processes, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of products/services while maintaining quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning : Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery performance. Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and implement strategies to reduce excess or obsolete inventory. Logistics and Distribution : Streamline logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to enhance. efficiency and meet customer demands. Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards in product/service quality throughout the supply chain. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of operations. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Qualifications and Skills: Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Minimum 12-15 years experience, preferably in pharmaceutical & similar industry, in a senior supply chain management role, demonstrating successful leadership and strategic thinking. Preference shall be given with Pharmaceutical / similar field Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and performance metrics to drive decision-making. Excellent negotiation and communication skills for managing vendor relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in supply chain management software/tools and SAP.Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong leadership abilities, fostering teamwork and driving performance. Results-oriented and adept at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
