Job Description

Job DescriptionShould be Diploma/B. E/M. E/B.Sc/M.Sc(Computer/Electronics)6+ years hands-on experience on MySQL/PostgreSQL Server or MongoDB NoSQL AdministrationAt least 3 years of Database migration experience including Database migration to cloud using Azure MigrateExperience with databases of huge Data size across multiple database platforms (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB etc.)Experience with heterogeneous database migrations from one database engine to another database engineCustomer facing skills to understand the requirements and drive discussions with technical and business teamsAnalyze on premise transactional database environments such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and plan migration strategy to CloudDevelop/Enhance scripts to migrate from source database to target databaseCheck the possibility of workarounds for specific issues observed during migrationAutomate solutions for repeatable tasks/issuesDesign and develop test plan and test cases as part of checklist to demonstrate database readiness post migrationConsult for optimal design of database environments, analyzing complex production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize the performanceAutomation framework like terraform or Ansible knowledgeResolving/recommendations to application team regarding database migration compatibility issuesKnowledge of Cloud Backup/recovery strategies and MethodsConduct technical sessions for internal teams, partners and customersGood communication and presentation skillsGood in handling customer escalation and provide solutionReliability, Ability to work under pressure and ability to precise in communication are mustShould be able to work in 24x7 shifts & customer locationMicrosoft Azure certified - preferredBelow knowledge is an added advantageAzure CertificationCompute - Provisioning VMs in Azure, configuring workloads, disks, networking, High Availability set and defining backup.,
