Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTIONTo support and coordinate various Supply Chain Customer Excellence Process and Performance, ERP Data Analytics topics.Including but not limited to:

• Assists and Drives creating, analyzing and documenting high impact business solutions for Eaton Electrical Sector Data Analytical requirements. Effectively bridging the gap of Business need into Analytical Solution and tools that can be used by Eaton users across the Eaton Enterprise.
• Provide Supply Chain domain solutions/advices/standard practices to various queries/concerns
• Identification of Data Cleansing requirements within Eaton Electrical Sector Data sets. Working with other stakeholders to develop and effective and robust cleansing processes and algorithms and validating them. Ensuring that data is clean and useable by the Organisation.
• Presents complex critical analytical concepts in simplest manner to different stakeholders of the business.
• Coordinates closely with ES performance Manager, Data Architect & IT BI team to understand Data and aggregate, filter or manipulate it.
• Designs and Develops impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI and sharing those reports effectively using Microsoft Power Platform. These dashboards should be of a high visual quality (using standards for spacing, fonts, margins, colour pallet, flow, ordering).
• Aligning with the ES performance Manager and other Eaton Stakeholder groups with respect to Dashboard design and content, to ensure that the Dashboards and tools being developed meet the business needs / expectations.
• Oversee the UAT, sign-off and migration from Dev to Prod environments for metrics reported and tools launched to be accepted by the business. To monitor the phase out of legacy / obsolete tools that the Daylight data and process replaces.
• Researches and brings insight around what good looks like, for presenting data in the form of performance dashboards and business tools relating to ERP / transactional data and analytics.
• Helps in developing standard tools and to identify cost out opportunities and monitor deliverables in Packaging/Consolidation/Inventory/CLO related initiatives with Customer Satisfaction Team/BRM team. Developing standard tools to
• Helps preparing Predictive and Prescriptive analytics toolkit for ES for Forecasting / Segmentation / Modelling / Demand and Capacity etc.
• Understands data sources will include (but not be limited to), multiple ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.), other enterprise business tools (Demantra, TPH, PDH, EPM etc), other bespoke business tools (Customer Stock Assortment, Channel Charter Lead Times, Report Distribution Database, KPI Target Setting).
• Oversight of the design non-ERP Data Warehouse in Cloudera Including but not limited to: Customer Stock Assortment, Channel Charter Lead Times, Report Distribution Database, KPI Target Setting.
• Ensures that all data, reports and tables are properly managed, maintained, labelled and documented. Using good housekeeping practices, so that unused (obsolete) material can be deleted in a timely manner, and others can understand the work that has been done, in case of absence or moving on to a different role inside or outside Eaton.
• Working closely with other Business Groups within Eaton, including but not limited to: Material Master Data Management Team; Customer Master Data Management Team; Material Management Team; Product Data Stewards; IT Business Intelligence; IT; Supply Chain Shared Services in Pune (India) and Budapest; Transport Operations: Distribution Operations; Sales and Marketing Analytics; etc
• Additionally, support for other ad-hoc Data Analytics requirements for ES Business and Eaton Globally

• Quickly identifies trends/insights from complex data.
• Creates visualizations and new uses of multiple data sources and shares it across organization.
• Strategizes new uses for data and its interaction with data design.
• Locates data sources, analyzes statistics and implements quality procedures.
• Conducts scalable data research
• Identifies opportunities to collect new data.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, IT, database engineers and other scientists.
• Develop and deploy business tools that add value to Eaton, business, customers and shareholders
• Getting feedback and requests from the business process owners
• Dealing with both day to day queries (operational) and development of new tools to support processes or give insight (tactical)
• Interpreting the business requests to describe changes that would be needed
  • Either in Dashboard design
  • Or in describing changes to the business logic
• Working with the Product Owner to work through change requests
• Creating BRDs with descriptions of changes to be made, including PowerBI changes and Impala coding changes
• Working with other process owners and stakeholders to align on change requests (and sign off on BRDs)
• Being the bridge between the Development Team and Business Users on change requests (so we don t slow down and interrupt the Development Team, balancing requirements and expectations
• Documenting the logic used in project outputs for Business Users (not for developers at coding level)
• Working with Process owners to describe and define requirements ensuring that what is proposed is:
• Deliverable (can be developed)
• Valuable (delivers real value benefit)
• Is not duplicating what exists already
• Where possible we should enhance what we have
• Is consistent with what we have
• Tells the right story communicates the right outputs
• Able to create content or make adjustments to existing content in PowerBI

Qualifications

• BEBTechMtechMCA or any other Bachelor s degree or master s degree in Data Analytics, Business or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management(4 to 10 years)
• Displays superior data visualization abilities
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Knowledge of different types of Databases
• Strong Data Manipulation skills, working with large datasets
• Experience within large data environments
