Job Description

B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer science- Desirable to have relevant certification in Java / J2EE. Around 5-12 years of relevant experience in designing / developing complex IT systems in Java/J2EE within banking and financial services, preferably in Credit Risk or Private Banking area.

  • Working as a senior Java J2EE developer and database skills for multiple project(s)/work stream(s) within Private Banking Credit Risk - IT space.
- Hands on skills on Micro services using Java technology.
  • Complex or enterprise level application
  • If they have had experience with Microservices project, Migration to cloud architecture projects
  • Been a part of Monolithic to microservices based architecture
  • Having a Computer Science degree would be plus not mandate
  • BFSI exp would certainly be helpful
- Good exposure to deployment platforms on open shift- Hands in working experience with Odyssey and GIT
  • Strong hand in writing functional specifications and user stories
  • SQL skills and experience in data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;.
  • Experience of independently managing end to end delivery of complex projects.
  • Effective stakeholder management, experience in facing senior business stakeholders, and ability to engage with functional experts from other departments of the banks.
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision.
  • Proven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal).
  • Effective time management able to work under pressure and meet deadlines for both project related and non-project related tasks.
