We are Group Research Analytics & Communications (GRAC IT), part of larger Group Technology organization at UBS and deliver IT solutions that help capture, manage and deliver research to internal and external clients. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated candidate to fulfil a developer role for the Content Distribution Engine team. The successful candidate will join the team of around 4-5 people in Pune, India, strong design skills with the ability to express designs using appropriate diagrams with appropriate supporting text, design Patterns and basic development principles core Java, collections, multithreading, JDBC etc, java frameworks primarily Spring, good knowledge of XML manipulation using Java and XSLT, UNIX/Linux development experience (shell scripting) knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, Agile methodology, test driven development experience would be a plus e.g. junit database technologies: Preferably Sybase experience. To include the creation and modification of tables/stored procs. Good SQL skills are an important requirement. web application design (incl. Model/View/Controller), experience of Apache/Tomcat or similar, web client technologies: HTML, CSS & JavaScript. JMS, ideally Tibco EMS or similar maven (or other release/dependency management tools). Github for version control, Continuous Integration; Hudson/Jenkins experience in developing Webservices/RESTFUL services
