Job Description

*Job Objectives:The main responsibility of this position is to develop and support our BI, Data Warehousing, Reporting and application development projects in Automation Solutions Data Management and Analytics Platform Team at global level. The position should be able to use latest techniques in a area of Business Intelligence and is responsible to enhance, manage & maintain our Global Data Warehouse. This Includes data modeling, Azyre Synapse Analytics, SQL Server programming, performance optimization, SSAS Tabular Model, Power BI & Data Marts.Organizational Position: Lead Data Engineer position reports to the Technical Lead and working in 12:00AM to 8:00PM IST (Parallel to EU business hours)Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data ingestion pieplines in Azure Data Factory
• Indept understanding of Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models required for Data Warehousing
• Design and maintain Data Warehouse using SQL Server 2016/latest Technology and Azure Synapse SQL Pool
• Creating and maintaining SQL Server Database Projects and Deployments to on-Prem SQL server or Azure Synapse Analytics SQL Pool
• Develop Power BI reports & dashboards driven on Data Warehouse to measure Key Performance Indicators needed to monitor/improve our business
• Working in Azure DevOps/Agile Scrum based execution methodologies
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve Issues on production systems
• Support our web-based software solutions/applications as required to serve various business productivity improvements.
• Establish and maintain a high level of accuracy during routine and project activities and being proactive
• Should be quick learner to adapt new technologies

Skill Requirements:

• 6 to 9 Years of experience related to business intelligence, data analysis, Power BI reporting and some related subject
• 3+ years of hands-on experience on Azure Data Factory is a MUST
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Power BI Reporting
• Overall hands on experience in SQL Server programming and SSIS
• Should have strong knowledge SSAS Tabular Model and DAX
• Exposure to Azure Data Solutions stack of technologies are preferred
• Understanding and knowledge of computer systems and programming methods is a benefit, especially on the MS Office Tools, Oracle pl-sql, Power Apps, XML and FTP/SFTP
• Self-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and direct others in a team environment.
• Strong Written and Oral communication skills.
• Good organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Good time-management and self starter skills are also desirable
