• Provide technical support for issues related to clients leveraging MongoDB
• Analyze and optimize performance metrics of MongoDB deployments
• Provide consultation on improving architecture and design of MongoDB deployments
• Creating high quality documentations to enrich the knowledge base related to MongoDB
• Should be open to working in a 24x7 environment support with rotational shifts and on-call support on weekends
• Should be open to expanding the knowledge horizon beyond MongoDB onto other similar NoSQL technologies

What you bring:Essential Experience:

• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Experience of supporting live systems or other experience of working with and troubleshooting software in a business setting
• Should be confident handling client interactions whenever needed

Desirable Experience:

• Financial markets knowledge

Essential TechnicalSkills:

• Should have expertise in installation of MongoDB in standalone and clustered environment
• Should be able to implement optimal backup and recovery plans
• Should come up and implement best practices for backups, replication, sharding and health checks
• Identify bottlenecks and fine-tune configurations for performance improvement
• Should be able to implement appropriate indexes for performance improvement
• Should have expertise in troubleshooting and resolving MongoDB related issues
• Should be able to evaluate, plan, and perform database upgrades
• Should be able to implement database hardening measures to ensure the integrity of and access to database is never compromised
• Should be able to design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations
• Work closely with the application team to understand what changes are coming in a build/patch/hotfix, do an impact analysis, fine-tune the queries if any
• Expertise in Linux and shell scripting
• Experience of working on MongoDB Ops Manager, Atlas
• Knowledge of point in time recovery solutions in MongoDB.
• Knowledge about MongoDB indexes, shard keys & query optimization.
• Updated knowledge about MongoDB latest versions and changes.
