Basic FunctionThe developer in the position will be responsible for design and develop the iOS app for Kitchen and Bath smart home IoT applications. This includes developing and designing native app, app framework development and maintenance, adding new features and product to the app.Specific Responsibilities1. Review and Analyze business specifications.2. Follow Agile Scrum Methodology.3. Collaborate with business, developers, lead and QA engineers and implementwhat is required by the business.4. Design and Develop iOS development framework for Mobile App5. Participate in analyzing of Requirement Document, Design Document andTechnical Specification document and getting clarification on the requirementsif required.6. Perform peer code reviews to improve the quality of the test code base andoptimize its execution.7. Work with service development and release engineering to refine the service-specific automated test usage in the continuous integration/continuousdeployment (CI/CD) flow.8. Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to the app and developreuse components.9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the softwaredevelopment lifecycle.10. Comply with standards, procedures, guidelines, priorities, and schedules.11. Work with manager on requirement management, estimation, effort tracking,defect tracking and quality metrics.12. Maintains project tracking and provide status reports to the manager andcustomers in a timely manner.13. Generate and manage daily/monthly time logs and related reports.14. Well-developed interpersonal skills that can be leveraged in working withteam members of different cultures and backgrounds. The ability to workacross different teams within engineering and outside engineering tosuccessfully achieve results.Education Requirements1. Bachelors Degree in Computers or Information Technology or ElectronicsTechnical Skills1. 3 t0 5 years of Android app development.2. Proven experience as an Individual Contributor role.3. Experience developing RESTful micro-service based applications.4. Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, and related SDKs5. Experience with Agile (Scrum or XP), test && behavior driven development,continuous integration, and version control6. Good knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software7. Design Patterns and coding principles8. Demonstrable experience in developing Android apps deploying to GooglePlay store.9. Hands-on experience in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc.), using SQLDatabase such as MS SQL, Azure SQL, Oracle, No-SQL etc.10. Hands-on experience in utilizing Framework (Core, MVC, Integration andData)11. Related DevOps tools experience a plus (e.g. VSTS/Azure DevOps)12. App development on Smart/cloud connected products will be addedadvantage. (Bluetooth and WiFi based Apps).13. Cross platform development knowledge will be added advantage.Behavioral Skills1.
