SynopsisThe Applications Development Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Function Overview:TTS offers the industry s most comprehensive suite of treasury and trade solutions including cash management, payments, receivables, liquidity management and investment services, working capital solutions, commercial card programs, trade finance and services and is recognised for its technologically advanced and innovative solutions.TTS counts 80% of Global Fortune 500, over 1,100 public sector entities and thousands of financial institutions spread over 160 countries transacting in over 140 currencies, processing over USD 4.0 trillion of client payments everyday Collaborates with clients to deliver next-generation cloud enabled, API driven financial solutionsRole Description:Our Senior Java technocrats designs and develops next generation of financial products leveraging their Java skills to create robust and scalable platforms that can source and process huge amount of data to produce near realtime output to support wide set of complex business processes. They also are often required to integrate their platform with globally distributed applications which at times also requires them to learn and leverage many messaging/open source/cloud technologies.They directly interact with business users to design, develop, demonstrate and improve the platform in an agile fashion.They also provide technical leadership to the junior members on the team.They work in an environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration.Detail Role Specifications & RequirementsQualifications:
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in design and development of enterprise grade software using Java/J2EE technologies
• An industry standard Java certification would be definite plus
Technical / Functional Proficiency:
• Strong Experience developing and designing applications in Core Java
• Demonstrates Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability and concurrent programming.
• Ability to design cutting edge solution using the core java stack
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and working experience with any DB
• Experience with any messaging technology JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka would be a definite plus
• Experience on build Tools Maven, Ant and other SDLC tools such as Sonar and Jenkins is good to have
Leadership Skills:
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver independently & quickly
• Demonstrated skills leading a team of developers guiding them technically in a hands-on fashion
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills, clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement.

• Build relationships with various stakeholders, team player
• Flexibility to work in multiple complex projects and changing priorities
