Job Description

This position is for the Supplier Tooling management process of the Compliance function within the GSC CoE, Pune.The person in this position primarily requires a deeper understanding of the usage of various tools required for manufacturing operations.The key responsibility of the position is to monitor & report the life of eaton-owned tools at supplier locations on a regular basis to identify and facilitate the tool replacements and refurbishments in an efficient & timely manner through effective collaboration with Category management, Plants, and Suppliers to ensure continuity of supply to Eaton plants.QualificationsMasters / Bachelors degree (Preferred Mechanical Engineering background)5 - 7 years of relevant experience related to supply chain management in global environments with a minimum of 2-3 years of plant exposure along with working knowledge of how tools are designed and operated for manufacturing activities.Should have a working knowledge of the process life-cycle of tools. Management of tooling-related risks: Accurate and timely reporting of Tooling risks originating from tooling usage.
