Senior Analyst Treasury

Job Description

Part of the Global Treasury Services Center in Pune. She/he will perform front office activities and ensure efficient support for Treasury Back Office operations.List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results):Foreign Exchange:
1. Reviews operations exposures and provides advice on FX hedging
2. Liaises closely with relationship banks and executes FX hedging contracts
3. Executes internal FX hedging contracts based on operations exposure submission or ad hoc requests
4. Analyses FX deals and exposure for Treasury Centres and ensures adequate hedges are in place to minimize volatility
5. Controls, optimizes and minimizes FX hedges portfolio
6. Develops and provides appropriate reporting on FX transactions to operations and management
Cash Management:
1. Performs daily cash management operations (reviews cash positions, balances accounts) and arrange transfer of excess cash into treasury centres
2. Evaluates amount and tenor of external short-term investments / facility drawdown
3. Reviews and proposes intercompany financing structures
4. Coordinates operations funding requests
5. Prepares bank documentation for cash management structures and new bank facilities
6. Participates in treasury operations improvement programs
General:
1. Participates in treasury operations improvement programs
2. Supports specific treasury projects to increase operational excellence related to Front Office activities
QualificationsDescribe any specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative) which your position requires.
1. Understanding of financial markets and financial instruments
2. Solid understanding and aptitude in IT systems and capabilities (detailed knowledge of MS Excel)
3. Detailed oriented, analytical and accurate
4. Good communication skills
5. Bachelor of Commerce with MBA Finance preferred
6. At least 3/5 years qualified experience in Treasury management (preferred) and/or Financial Analysis
