Software EngineerLocation PunePosting date 4 days ago(6/9/2021 4:30 AM)Job ID 82448 Job summary The Red Hat Customer Experience and Engagement (CEE) team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will help develop the next generation of our industry-leading support tooling and workflows. You will contribute value to our customers through the enhancement of internal systems as part of an agile and globally distributed development team. To succeed in this role, youll need to be creative and motivated, proficient in working with Salesforce (SFDC), and able to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment. Primary job responsibilities

  • Design and Implement integration architectures for data and process integration within SFDC and with other non-Salesforce systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Salesforce Architects to understand the implementation requirements and deliver with quality
  • Develop solutions on the SFDC platform using Apex and Visualforce
  • Be responsible for code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during the project process
  • Work on Salesforce technologies like Salesforce Lightning, Classic, Integrations (REST, SOAP, Outbound Messages), Einstein, and Einstein Chat
Required skills
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a technology-related discipline
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Practical experience with SFDC (Apex, VF, Integrations)
  • In depth understanding of Salesforce profiles and roles and sharing rules, validation rules, tasks, workflow rules, and triggers, etc.
  • Experience in web application development with node.js, React, or similar technologies
  • Working knowledge on web services (REST and SOAP ) and experience in integrating Salesforce system with third party systems using middleware
  • Experience in sales cloud or service cloud
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented development and design, experience in using design patterns, and ability to write clean, well-refactored maintainable code
  • Excellent communication skills and client interaction skills
  • Good understanding of Salesforce classic and Lightning platforms, standard features, and standard object structures
  • Experience in project and version management tools like JIRA, Github, Gerrit
The following are considered a plus:
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer or JavaScript Developer
  • Deployment using complex enterprise Force.com release management and knowledge of Force.com Metadata API.
  • Practical experience with Salesforce Data Loader
