A candidate with positive attitude will be preferred.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive and own end-to-end delivery of innovative and performant features into our software applications.Responsible of feature design and development using best in class industry standardsUnderstand agile principles and play scrum master role for the teamCollaborate with multiple stakeholders and unblock team for any impedimentsBe a mentor for the team and build a positive work environmentGain quick understanding of product and technology stack and leverage it for future product developmentMigrating/Onboarding team to SAAS modelEnsure quality of delivery by following best coding practices , design principles, unit testing of codeInspire a team of engineers to apply deep knowledge of computer science & programming principles into innovative solutions.Build and track quality into agile product lifecycle encompassing requirements, design, code, testing, delivery, support. Socialize a culture of quality across business verticals and departments.Guide and mentor engineers on clear maintainable full-stack code, working in a professional software engineering environment (source control, shortened release cycles, continuous integration, and deployment, etc.).Working as a lead as well as individual contributor capacitySupport our products, enable teams to identify and fix root causes of production incidents, own the long-term closure of major incidents.Own product quality and work to quickly address production defects.Embed a DevOps mentality within the team.Instill a culture of constant learning and staying relevant with trends in technology across engineers and management.Influence architects, senior engineering, and product management to measure, track and iterate continuous improvement processes across engineering discipline, impacting success across the agile delivery organization globally.Present operational status to management from an engineering operations level and advise back to engineers on calibration at team level practices. Be a change leader!Qualifications and Technical SkillsBachelors degree in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent additional work experience8 years of experience in .Net full stack web development2 years of handling a team of size 5-6 peopleHave a solid understanding of Design patterns and practices object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, web programming, SOLID principlesGood understanding of Non functional requirements and ability to design solutions that are robust, secure, scalable and performingGood understanding of implementing logging and monitoring toolsExcellent analytical skills for Incident Management, incident communication, RCAExperience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is good to haveUnderstanding of SAAS product development2 years of experience playing scrum master role, with good understanding of agile principlesExperience in web development, JS frameworks, UI/UX technologies- HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.Net, AJAX , VUE (good to have)Experience in REST services, SOA, micro-servicesExperience in database programming using SQL ServerExperience in unit testing, mocking frameworks, automation frameworks3 years experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Strong communication and articulation skillsStrong communication, partnership, teamwork, and influencing skills are required.
