Job Description

    Position SummaryAs the Manager for our expanding team in India, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing a high-performing software development and quality assurance team. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering an Agile work environment, and ensuring the seamless integration of our Indian team with the teams in Switzerland.Main ResponsibilitiesTechnical leadership Demonstrate a strong technical acumen in full-stack development and quality assurance methodologies for our server, cloud based and desktop applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and state of the art development to guide team decisionsTeam building and management Recruit, train, and lead a talented team of software development and QA engineers. Foster a collaborative and agile working culture, ensuring the teams productivity and efficiency Manage performance and career development of. team members.Project executing Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver high-quality software products on time. Oversee project planning, sprint management, and resource allocation Monitor and report project progress, identify and mitigate risks.Quality assurance Ensure the development and implementation of robust QA processes, including test planning, execution, and automation Maintain high-quality standards in software development and product deliveryOrganizational skills Manage day-to-day team operations, including task prioritization, workload distribution, and progress tracking. Maintain clear documentation and reporting for projects and team performance.Critical Skills and Personal Attributes Excellent track-record in full-stack development with strong hand-on technical knowledge in C#, C, WPF, REST, Python, Javascript, Angular and various database implementations. Excellent track-record in software quality assurance with strong technical knowledge in test automation frameworks and tools. High sense of responsibility, commitment, and collaboration Excellent organizational and communication skills; very fluent in English. Ability to work effectively across different time zones and with remote teams.
