Job Description

    Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Verification & Validation Engineer with expertise in software testing to join our team. The Verification & Validation Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through meticulous testing practices. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of experience, a strong command of Python, MQTT, and Robot Framework, and is adept at utilizing Atlassian Tools such as JIRA and Confluence. In this role, you will contribute to the development of testing standards and processes to uphold the excellence of our software releases to customers.Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement robust testing strategies, methodologies, and standards for software projects to ensure high-quality releases.
    • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand software requirements and design test cases that cover all aspects of functionality and performance.
    • Utilize Python, MQTT, and Robot Framework to automate test cases and execute comprehensive testing of software components and systems.
    • Perform manual testing when necessary to validate software behavior and identify potential issues.
    • Design and execute performance, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests to verify software functionality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and prioritize defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
    • Create clear and detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports that effectively communicate testing activities and outcomes.
    • Maintain and enhance the automated test suite, keeping it up to date with evolving software features and changes.
    • Use Atlassian Tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track testing progress, manage tasks, and document test-related information.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on testing processes and suggesting ways to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Verification & Validation Engineer or Software Tester.
    • Proficiency in Python programming language for test automation.
    • Strong understanding of MQTT protocol and its application in software testing.
    • Experience with Robot Framework or other test automation frameworks.
    • Familiarity with Atlassian Tools, including JIRA and Confluence, for task and project management.
    • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage in technical discussions.
